Indie folk fusion band
Yugm is an independent folk-fusion band currently based out of Mumbai. Over the last 3 years, we have performed at a variety of festivals & events, with over 300 plus performances under our belt. Yugm has grown from a small folk band to a major social influence among the youth, with songs addressing social & political issues. At the 2018 Rajasthan Style Fest, Yugm was named the Best Band of Rajasthan Award.
We have shared stages with bands like Maati Bani, Vasu Dixit Collective, Kabir Cafe, and even opened for the Indian Ocean. Our music has been used for Radio 94.3 FM Rajasthan, and we have been covered by numerous leading dailies (such as Rajasthan Patrika, Times of India)
Our music is inspired by the lives, experiences, and issues of people around us. Our songs cover a wide range of topics, but we focus on prevailing social issues like water wastage or the taboo against menstruation. While we have a long way to go to spread our message, we believe every song does its own small part.

Rann Utsav 2018, 2019
Experience Kutch at its colorful and exotic best during the Rann Utsav this December from 1st. This annually organized festival offers an opportunity for visitors to attend the folk dance and music concepts, to watch artisans at work, to Shop directly from NGO’s craftspeople and village co-operatives, to see the great historical monuments in the state, and to visit places off the usual tourist trail.

Jashn-e-Adab
Jashn-e-Adab (Sahityotsav) society is known for celebrating Art, Culture & Literature in Hindi and Urdu across the nation right from 2012. Jashn-e-Adab is pleased to announce its 3 days mega event which is association with Hamdard University at Hamdard University Campus. There were the spectacular sessions for the promotion of art, culture and literature like Panel discussions, Classical & Sufi Singing, Ghazal Singing, Qawwali, Grand Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan, Youth Mushaira, Mazahiya Mushaira, Play, Bait-Bazi, Dastangoi, Book Release and Book Exhibition, Ilmi Baazar, food court serving 'Zaiqa Hindustan Ka' & many more.

What a day it was, more than the performance we were excited meeting and talking to our favorite people about their journey, about the independent music scene in India.
